What We are Currently Feeding Our Puppies

At 8 weeks, our puppies eat four times a day.
At 12 weeks, they eat three times a day.
We feed them a 50/50 mix of:

1/2c Kirkland Puppy Chow
1/2 c. Puppy Milk

Here's the recipe for our Puppy Milk, which they love and do very well with:

900 ml water
100g powdered goat's milk^?
5 egg yolks^?
75 ml heavy cream^?
50 g plain yogurt

Blend it all together and you'll have enough for ~8 feedings.

We like to put the puppy chow in their bowl and pour the puppy milk on top to soften it up. One of the best things you can do is firmly tell your puppy to 'Sit' and expect them to do so before putting their food down for them. This continues training we have started with them and establishes you as the leader of their new pack, which will help them feel safe and secure in their new home under your leadership.
